Why soft washing lasts longer than pressure washing
Pressure washing blasts organic growth off the surface, but the roots remain — so the algae and mould return within months. Soft washing treats the growth with a cleaning solution that kills it at the source, so the result lasts far longer on siding, stucco and roofs.
The cleaning solution breaks down the organic matter and the low-pressure rinse flushes it away. Because the growth is treated rather than just removed, a soft-washed surface typically stays clean for a year or more, compared to a few months after pressure washing.
Surfaces that must be soft washed
